Authors note: This is a joke I thought up with my friend George after
seeing
the movie "The Mothman Prophecies" (which BTW is a *great* flick).
It's a parody of the concept themed after the 60s Batman series.
Let's begin, shall we?

[Fat Cat's Casino]
[A Phone on FC's Desk Rings]
Fat Cat: [Picks up Phone] WHAT IS IT?!?!?!?!?
Voice: This is Mothman!
Fat Cat: What do you want?
Voice: I prophecize that you are planning to steal the priceless
Pearlneck Tiara!
Fat Cat: Wow! That's right!
Voice: I prophecize your plan will be foiled!
Fat Cat: What makes you so sure?
Voice: I've already foiled it!
Fat Cat: How?
Voice: Simple! I stole it myself!
Fat Cat: So, where are you calling from?
Voice: Jail.
Fat Cat: Excellent! Now you won't be able to stop my...
waitaminute...
Voice: Toodles! [Both parties hang up]
[Ranger HQ]
[Phone rings]
Gadget: [Answers phone] Hello?
Voice: Get me Chip Maplewood.
Gadget: He's not here right now.
Voice: Sure he is! I prophecize that he just entered the door!
Chip: [Calling from other room] Who is it?
Gadget: [To Chip] It's for you!
[Chip comes in, Gadget hands him the phone, then leaves]
Chip: Hello?
Voice: This is the Mothman. I'm a superhero who's special
power is Prophecizing. I prophecize that Prof. Norton
Nimnul is going to attempt yet another bank robbery.
Chip: Really? Gosh! We've got to...
Voice: Don't worry. I prophecize that I've already foiled
his scheme.
Chip: How?
Voice: I robbed his lab. That's how I'm able to pirate the
phone lines!
Chip: Never mind.
Voice: By the way, don't tell Dale that I prophecize a chocolate
shortage tomorrow.
Chip: Okay, I won't tell him. Bye [Hangs up]
[Dale walks in]
Dale: Hey Chip! Who was that?
Chip: Just some guy named the Mothman, who prophecizes. He told
me not to tell you he predicts a chocolate shortage tomorrow.
Dale: WHAT?!?!?!?!? That's TERRIBLE!!!
[Dale runs out, scared. Hijacking the Ranger Wing, he takes all
the chocolate he can find, and stockpiles it in the tree the
RR HQ is built into. As Mothman Prophecized, there was a chocolate
shortage]
[Nimnul's Lab]
Nimnul: [Answering a Ringing Phone] Hello?
Voice: This is Mothman, and I prophecize that you will shortly
experience a power outage. [Power goes out all over Nimnul's
lab] There, see, what did I tell you? Anyway, toodles! [Hangs
up]
Nimnul: Drat...
